Is Virtual Right for You?
To help you have the best experience possible, here’s what you’ll need to comfortably (and successfully!) attend class online.
Technology Recommendations
-
A laptop provides the best and easiest virtual experience.
-
If you choose to use a smartphone, it’s much easier if you use two devices (for example, your phone for the camera and a tablet for the workbook).
-
You’re responsible for having a stable connection and staying on camera for the full class.
Your Virtual Learning Environment
-
You must be alone, in a quiet, safe, and distraction-free space.
-
You must remain fully dressed and presentable, as you will be visible to the instructor and the class at all times.
-
Your camera must stay on and your microphone must stay available during class (except during breaks).
-
No smoking, driving/riding in a vehicle, vaping, sleeping, eating on camera, or leaving the meeting outside of break times.
-
The instructor will provide multiple breaks throughout the class, including lunch.
Program Policy
-
Students who violate these rules will be removed from class and not allowed to re-enter.
-
Students removed for rule violations are not eligible for a refund and must re-register at their own expense to attend another session.

About This Course
Georgia Law
If a Georgia driver accumulates 15 points within a 24 month period, the Department of Driver Services will suspend their driving privileges for 6 months. Completion of this 6 hour Defensive Driving Program is required prior to restoration of driving privileges. If a licensed driver accumulates 15 points within 24 months for a second time, within a 5 year period, the Department of Driver Services will suspend their driving privileges for 1 year and, once again, the completion of a 6-hour program is required to reinstate your license. Some judges in the State of Georgia may dismiss or non-process a ticket for a moving violation if the offender completes the 6 hour program.
Additionally, under Georgia law O.C.G.A. 33-9-42, a reduction of not less than 10% in insurance premiums shall be available to licensed drivers 25 years of age or older, provided they have a clean driving record and successfully complete a 6hr defensive driving course.
